Australia's Pulse, a cool and quirky tech blog showcasing the
latest news, videos, reviews, gadgets and apps from CNET Australia and around the globe. Hand in hand with the blog, CNET
Australia has relaunched its weekly podcast, Pulse.
- May 2010 saw CNET Australia launch an online media kit for the CNET Editors' Choice Award, a stamp of approval that Australians look for and can trust when
shopping for gadgets and consumer electronics. The online kit provides access to the logos and a guideline to promote vendors
winning products.
- January 27 saw Apple unveil its latest innovation in touch technology, the Apple iPad. In conjunction with the launch, the CNET Australia

- In October 2009, CNET Australia developed and launched the CNET Learning Centre, an educational content section that gives readers the chance to learn the basics of technology; building on their skills and knowledge through a range of easy-to-read tutorials.
- In July 2008, CNET Australia developed and launched the iPhone Launch Centre offering the first video previews, launch event coverage and handset reviews of this much anticipated mobile handset.
- In April 2008, CNET Australia launched CNET in Your Pocket the site's mobile-capable platform, built to view the sites news, reviews and hot-to sections via a mobile handset. The site has also been optimsed for viewing on the iPhone 3G.
In April 2008, CNET Australia launched Digital Life in co-operation with Macquarie Southern Cross Media (MSCM) to bring the CNET team's consumer tech know-how to a broader audience with the show broadcast to over 40 stations nationally in the Hit Music Network and podcast each week on CNET Australia.
In February 2008, CNET Australia launched Car Tech, a new channel dedicated to automobiles and in-car technology.
In October 2007, CNET Australia launched an online music centre (www.cnet.com.au/music) offering over 90,000 free and fully licensed tracks from 17,000 artists.
In July 2007, CNET Australia introduced new membership and community features including forums and an “Ask Us” feature enabling readers to ask questions and gain insights from our Editorial team and wider audience.
CNET Australia also launched a new weekly video show, Whaddyareckon, which looks at the lighter side of technology.
