CNET AUSTRALIA AND YAHOO!7 ANNOUNCE PREMIUM CONTENT PARTNERSHIP

Yahoo!7 and CNET Australia to launch a consumer technology destination with content exclusively from CNET

Sydney, 14 May, 2010 — Australia's leading online consumer technology destination, CNET Australia (www.cnet.com.au) has today joined forces with Yahoo!7 (www.yahoo7.com.au) in a premium content partnership that will see the two organisations deliver a new technology destination for the Yahoo!7 network.

Under the terms of the deal, CNET Australia will deliver a custom cross-publishing model with dedicated editorial resources to repurpose and republish content directly to the co-branded Yahoo!7 |CNET Technology site. Set to go live in late June 2010, the agreement combines CNET Australia's six years' experience in consumer technology trend commentary, news and reviews, with the mainstream reach of Yahoo!7's audience - 1 in 2 online Australians visit the Yahoo!7 network each month.

CNET Australia's editorial team, headed by Editor Pam Carroll, will be updating customised content daily across four core subject areas: photography, digital home, tech on-the-go and games. Content will showcase a range of features across these categories including photo-galleries, videos, buying guides and reviews housed within the CNET branded channel.

CNET Australia's content, combined with Yahoo!7's broad audience and advanced targeting capabilities, will deliver the best experience for both advertisers and online audiences. Within the agreement, CBS Interactive, which owns and operates CNET Australia, will have the added capacity to sell ad inventory on the channel, offering advertisers with options to complement and enhance their CNET Australia spend. Additionally, Yahoo!7 will have access to monetize an allocation of inventory on both the co-branded site and the CNET Australia network as part of its Direct Response offering.

"CNET Australia has been a trusted brand for tech enthusiasts and purchasers since launch, with our reviews, how-to articles and education pieces resonating strongly with this tech-savvy audience. The combination of our premium content with Yahoo!7's broad audience will ultimately enhance awareness around the CNET Australia brand," said Jo Gaines, Commercial Director, CBS Interactive.

"We're excited to welcome CNET Australia into the Yahoo!7 content family, to help us to deliver the web's best tech content to our Australian audience," said Kath Hamilton, Director of Audience for Yahoo!7. "We believe that this partnership will deliver a great experience for both audiences and advertisers with CNET Australia as a premium content partner".

The co-branded Yahoo!7 |CNET Technology site will go live in late June at www.yahoo7.com.au/cnet.
