Brian Haverty, Editorial Director

brian Brian is currently the editorial director for CBSi Australia, focusing on B2B sites including ZDNet Australia and TechRepublic. He joined the company when something called "print media" was still popular, and was once editor of the local versions of PC Magazine and Windows Sources.

Prior to coming to Australia 16 years ago, he worked at a custom publisher in Japan, where he also led the technology team that brought in an all-new digital publishing system.

Brian is regularly a guest/moderator at IT conferences in Sydney, hosts a variety of panel discussions and webinars on ZDNet, and has one of the site's largest subscriber audiences to his weekly newsletter.

Fun fact: he is a musician, and was once in a band that played on the Love Boat (not the TV show, but the actual ship used in the series).
