Joseph Joseph joined CNET in 2008 after having worked in TV production and video editing for over five years. His passion for mobile phones and handheld gadgets is borne from a layman's love of computing throughout his life.

With a software engineer for a father, Joseph was lucky to see most new advancements in computing before his friends, and still remembers his intense boredom at first seeing the internet sometime in 1994. He now tunes this interest into mobile computing, an innovation in computing he believes is made more important by its reach beyond the tech savvy and the ultra-wealthy.

While he wishes he had a greater passion for fine art and literature, Joseph spends his spare time in front of his TV playing as many console games as he can get his hands on. Joseph is happy to make use of his Communications degree and looks forward to his high school reunion -- take that Mr and Mrs Maths teacher!
