Kate O'Shea, Presenter and Executive Producer

kate TV.com host Kate O’Shea’s star has been fast ascending since her debut in the role of headline presenter for CBS Interactive in early 2008.

A graduate of the famed performance school NIDA, Kate is one of the newest faces on the Australian entertainment scene, interviewing the brightest TV and film stars and exciting personalities from both Australia and across the globe. Through Glitter and TV.com, Kate brings the latest news, previews and interviews from the world of fashion, film/television, music and the arts.

In 2008, Kate interviewed a number of stars including Cate Blanchett, Baz Luhrmann, Abbie Cornish, Jimmy Barnes, Peter Garrett, Kirk Pengilly, Claudia Karvan, Bryan Brown, James Mathison, Megan Gale, Merrick & Rosso, Brian McFadden, Damian Walshe-Howling, Rebel Wilson, Claire Van Der Boom, Gracie Otto and many more. In recognition of her debut onto the Australian entertainment scene and her appointment as the ‘face’ of TV.com, Kate also received extensive media coverage in The Australian, The Daily Telegraph (Sydney Confidential), Sunday Telegraph, Sun Herald, mX (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane), Media Week, The Box and AdNews.

In her combined presenting and executive producing role, Kate developed a pilot season of Glitter and has since planned the show’s annual schedule for 2009. Plans arein development for Glitter to feature as a weekly segment on TV.com in 2009, with opportunities existing to extend its broadcast to Australian TV networks.

Prior to joining CBS Interactive, Kate worked in a PR and marketing role for top Australian fashion designer Collette Dinnigan. Her extensive experience in the fast-paced world of fashion and entertainment has helped to position Kate perfectly to become Australia’s fast-rising queen of all things entertainment.
