Alexandra Savvides is the associate editor on the CNET Australia team overseeing digital cameras
and printers. A keen photographer for the past 10 years, Alexandra is well versed in both digital and
film photography. You can hear her and the rest of the CNET team chatting tech on the weekly Pulse
podcast.
Alexandra's introduction to technology came at an early age as she spent long spells in front of Blockout and Ski Free during the heyday of Windows 3.1. From those humble beginnings she went on to study computer science and modern history at university; a combination which has since caused her much chagrin at having to explain that she wasn't going to become a computer historian when she grew up.
In her spare time, Alexandra presents a weekly show on Sydney's FBi Radio, edits Australia's only specialist electronic music magazine, Cyclic Defrost, and is likely to be found whiling away the hours making countless albums-of-the-year lists.
