James Kozanecki, Associate Producer

James A GameSpotter since the the site's launch in 1998, James has been active in the GameSpot AU forums and community since the early days, bringing an Aussie voice and discussion to the global GameSpot family. In between fending off flame wars and fanboys, James somehow managed to complete his HSC between major sessions of Operation Flashpoint and Metal Gear Solid; luckily coming out as the winner with news only days after his final exam that he was the new Associate Producer for GameSpot AU.

Life after that day in December 2006 has never been the same. Starting his gaming career as Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Master System II, he soon graduated to the Playstation and developed a taste for first-person shooters and racing games.

Outside of the normal 9-5, James can be found out on the water wakeboarding, on his boat or getting in touch with his inner-ninja at Krav Maga or hanging out at the pub with friends on a Sunday afternoon. He's into sports in a major way but loves his music and movies just as much too.
